Indoor air is what most people breathe for 90% of their lives. So it stands to reason that you stand a better prospect of staying healthful if the air is clean. Here are 7 answers with regards to why and how air purifiers may aid clear the air.

Can any cleaner take out all the particles? The short answer is no. Dust has been the bane of mankind’s existence since cave man days, and even altho an effective cleaner may take out 99.97% of airborne particulates, not one thing will remove all of them.

What kind of filter is best for particles? A HEPA or high-efficiency particle arresting filter is designed to remove 99.97% of particulates that are .3 microns or larger. It safe because the only by-product is fresh, clean air. And it is likewise the type of filtration employed in most hospitals.

Is there a filter that may remove both gases and particles? A carbon cloth filter may remove both gaseous and solid pollutants. Carbon is well-known for it is capacity to remove gases, odors, and airborne chemicals. And a carbon filter that is woven like a cloth also has the capacity to eliminate particles.

Designed by the British Military as a defense versus chemical warfare, it gives dual functionality in a cleaner. Hopefully, there is not one thing that heavy-duty going on in your home or office, but it is a outstanding filter to have working for you in your cleaner.

Is 24 hour filtration necessary for a cleaner to be effective? One of the best ways to keep air quality healthful is to systematically keep the level of pollutants low. Continuous filtration is the only way to make that happen.

Having a cleaner that runs for a while and then needs to be turned off to cool down allows pollutants to build to high levels while it’s taking a break. Pollutants don’t take a break, and an effective cleaner shouldn’t have to take one either.

Continuous cleaning is wholly do-able if the purifier has a split capacitor motor. This type of motor is designed to run continuously with high revolutions per minute. That’s what is necessitated to insure clean air all the time, other than as supposed or expected the cleaner is perpetually playing catch up and your air quality will suffer because of it.

Are ozone and ionizing air cleaners safe? There proceeds to be great controversy when it comes to these technologies. It has been determined that ozone levels would have to be so high to be effective they would be deadly to living things.

And in some cases ionized molecules have been found to stick to the lining of the lungs which is not the best or ordinary intended result when using an air purifier. Ultimately the decision has to be yours with regards to whether to use a cleaner with these technologies. But do your homework before you make your decision.

Is a steel case genuinely necessary for an air cleaner? First of all, steel is one of the most lasting and easy to maintain materials there are. So if you have young children, or curious pets, steel may stand up to most anything they are capable of doing.

Steel will also not off-gas fumes when the motor gets warm from continuous operation. This is a huge benefit. Some plastic cleaners emit fumes once the motor gets warm which makes the air not only smell bad and become unhealthful to breathe.

Is there a best cleaner for allergies? Since most airborne allergies are triggered by molecules such as dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, pet dander, bird dust, seasonal pollen, bacteria and viruses, a cleaner that has a great deal of filters for atoms is an effective choice.

Gaseous pollutants like smoke, chemical fumes from carpet and furniture, and scents from household productions may likewise trigger allergies. So a cleaner than may multitask by removing both types of triggers is best.

5Flat out gets rid of bad odor
By David
I am a skeptical buyer. I bought our first one to see if it would eliminate pollen in the house. It seemed to do a fair job of it. My surprise, was its getting rid of the dog odor. We have a hound and they just stink. Period. Frequent baths help, but his bed always stinks after only a day of use. If he slept in our bedroom, it would noticeably stink in the morning. The EdenPure area model ended that. Our home no longer smells to visitors. I bought one for my grandchildren. Today I am buying a third unit. Buy it, and unlike the two-star dummy, READ the BOOK stupid, and use it as directed, with frequent washing of the filter. Just a simple observation: if, when washing the filter, stuff comes off, isn’t that something you didn’t have to breathe? Duh!

5It’s great
By Steve
It’s a fantastic product. I purchased it from our local supermarket for $36 as it was a clearance item. It comes with a remote control and works fantastic. I use it in one room at a time and set it for 2 hours. It makes a difference to the quality of the air and smells. I wish I had another 2 so I don’t have to keep moving it about the house.
